Earth is a miniscule plane of existence. Beyond our planet, beyond our galaxy, and further beyond the known cosmos, it all becomes incomprehensible. The universe is massive, with infinite dimensions and parallel realities well beyond human perception. Most people live their lives within their own tiny worlds. But a rare few are, through fate or chance, granted the ability to perceive beyond the ordinary.
They are called the chosen ones. Or, more precisely, the Hungry Ones. They are gifted cosmic seeds from the cosmic flowers - an otherworldly bloom at the heart of all the universes in the cosmos. They appear to those destined for them. Those born with the potential for cosmic sight.
But not all cosmic seeds are fated to bloom. Some live their entire lives unaware of their gift, for only a few feed the seed by nurturing their talents with dedication, turning them into something meaningful. Others will simply return to the astral plane and feed the cycle of death and rebirth into new seeds.
One of the Hungry Ones is a wandering artist named Pino, who will later come to be known as Cosmopino.
At the start of this story, Pino knows nothing of the cosmos. He is an artist, a traveler who expresses his emotions through his work. He does not seek fame or fortune, nor does he have a grand purpose. He simply wants to experience life, to understand the world in his own way.
Then, his cosmic eyes open.
Suddenly, Pino perceives reality's true nature. He discovers he's one among many, surrounded by others carrying the same cosmic potential—humans and animals alike.
His journey expands beyond Earth, traversing civilizations and encountering beings from across the universe. Some are friendly, others terrifyingly alien. Through these experiences, Pino understands his cosmic seed is both a gift and a responsibility.
But Pino is not a warrior. He is not a scholar. He is not a messiah meant to save the universe. He is an artist. And all he wants is to see as much of the cosmos as he can. To seek inspiration, to create, and to share his art with those who may need it.
This is the beginning of his legend. This is the tale of Cosmopino and the Hungry Ones.
